The goal of creating minds, perpetually subservient to our beneficence, where we hold its material existence in a leash only *we* can relinquish, is morally abhorrent, and the steps that we need to get there — which *will* include the creation and extinguishment of things we will, in retrospect, assign some value of personhood to — just so we can put them to work is… pretty fucking bad, actually! Don't do it! It'll be bad for them, and it'll be bad for us!
